Peter
Robinson is a designer jeweller with over 40 years of experience
working on the bench and as a retail jeweller. He is well known
and respected in the UK largely as a result of his involvement
over the last 14 years in running Training
Courses for practical jewellers.
He
originally trained as a teacher specialising in
technical
studies, art and design. He taught in Peckham High School for
Girls before launching his career as a designer jeweller.
Over
the next thirty-five years he ran several jewellery businesses
covering all aspects from design and manufacture to repair and
restoration and then finally to retailing from a beautiful 400
year old shop in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
In
1994 he joined forces with H
S Walsh & Sons, the well known horological and jewellery
equipment suppliers, to set up courses teaching the skills of
jewellery manufacture and repair.
He
now lives and works in the Javea region of the North
Costa Blanca in Spain, designing and making jewellery for
clients from many different countries including the UK. In fact
he is still a frequent visitor to the UK where he still runs
the training courses at H S Walsh and Sons.
From
2006 he made it possible for you to combine training with a
holiday for yourself or all the family in the beautiful North
Costa Blanca by setting up training courses at his home in Spain.
See
Training
Page for details.
Jewellery
The
Jewellers Workshop is also an on-line showcase for hand crafted
jewellery designed and made by Peter Robinson to the specific
requirements of his clients.

Each
piece is the result of working with the client to design and
construct a personalised one off piece of precious jewellery.
Because Peter works directly with the client free of the burden
of expenses associated with a retail jewellers shop, the price
for this special service is much lower than you would expect
to pay in the high street.
